Fitness Floor Rules

  1. Please wear Athletic Shoes (closed toe) on the Fitness Floor.

  2. Children that are younger than 9 should be in Child watch. They are not to be on the fitness floor.

  3. Please limit cardio equipment use to 35 minutes when others are waiting.

  4. Please have only water on the Fitness Floor or a drink that has a lid on it.

  5. Please jog in the outside lane of the track. Inside lane is for walking.

  6. Please wear family friendly workout attire.

Fitness Floor Age Guidelines

9-11 year old

 Are able to use the following:

  • 5 Resistance Training Machines which are:

    • Chest Press

    • Seated Row

    • Leg Extension

    • Leg Curl

    • Shoulder Press

  • Treadmills, Stationary Bike (Cardio equipment in the second row) and Seated Ellipticals (First 3 Bikes in the first row)

 

  1. All the resistance training machines that the 9-11 year olds can use are marked with a T.

12-14 year olds

Are able to use the following:

  • All cardio machines if used properly

  • All resistance training machines if used properly

  1. 12-14 year olds are not allowed to use free weights (Dumbbells, Barbells, Kettlebells, etc.) or the large cable crossover machine without direct supervision by an adult that is 18 years or older.

  2. 15 year olds and above can use all equipment on the fitness floor.

  3. Kids that are younger than 9 years old are not to be on the fitness floor.
